The Brothers of Chi Omicron Chapter warmly welcome you to our online home. Established in 1947, we are a distinguished graduate chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., deeply rooted in the New Haven, Connecticut area. Our members represent a dynamic group of men connected to this region through birth, upbringing, education, or residence. Together, we proudly uphold the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift as we work tirelessly to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the community we call home.

 

For more than seven decades, Chi Omicron has been a cornerstone of leadership and service in the Greater New Haven area. Through our initiatives, we strive to enrich lives, foster growth, and strengthen our community. Our chapter has awarded hundreds of scholarships to deserving high school students, empowering them to pursue higher education and realize their dreams. Beyond scholarships, we are actively engaged in a wide range of impactful programs, including:

• Voter Registration Drives: Promoting civic engagement and empowering citizens to make their voices heard.

• Community Service Projects: Feeding the homeless, supporting local food banks, and volunteering with shelters and community organizations.

• Youth Mentorship: Offering guidance and support through fatherhood mentorship initiatives and programs aimed at building strong future leaders.

• S.T.E.M. Education Programs: Introducing young minds to the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to inspire innovation and opportunity.
